The challenge partners ( "the producer") were commissioned to perform a number of tests to evaluate marine data according to set user requirements. This product and any resultant data and metadata produced is a consequence of these tests and provided for interest only. The Product is provided on an “as is” basis, and the producer disclaims any and all warranties, conditions, or representations (express, implied, oral or written), relating to the Product or any part thereof, including, without limitation, any and all implied warranties of quality, performance, suitability or fitness for a particular purpose to the full extent permitted by law. In the absence of a full research project the input data needs to come from a high level product as the raw data is too sparse, in order to create a robust optimal analysis of the sparse data the producers have to bin the data into a course resolution vertically and temporally, and can only do this when the data is adequate. So covering the full century at 5 year resolution is not possible, as a basin wide average care is also needed in interpretation. The spatial coverage is adequate but for a timeseries like this the primary need is for the temporal coverage and so this product is limited.
