The attempt at the challenge used Copernicus dataset 025[ GLOBAL OCEAN PHYSICS REANALYSIS GLORYS2V4 (1993-2015)] to calculate the mean kinetic energy of the basin. Due to the extreme size of data files it was only possible to download and process 1 year of the 20 year dataset. As such the product can be considered as a proof of concept.
