Le produit atlas de courant de marée 2D, format netcdf – Golfe de Gascogne fournit les données de courants de marée sur une zone qui s’étend de la Bretagne aux côtes nord de l'Espagne. Le produit est composé d'un fichier maillé de résolution spatiale 2 km qui couvre l'ensemble du Golfe de Gascogne. Les vitesses U et V des courants de marée sont fonction des conditions de marée considérées en morte-eau moyenne (coefficient 45) ou vive-eau moyenne (coefficient 95). Les données sont fournies en m/s pour la couche de surface. Les échéances sont données en temps par rapport à la pleine mer du port de référence choisi sur la zone et sont fournies de 6 heures avant à 6 heures après cette référence.
The Tidal stream atlas netcdf product – The Bay of Biscay provides tidal current data for an area stretching from Brittany to the northern coast of Spain. The product consists of a unique gridded file with 2 km spatial resolution covering the Bay of Biscay. The U and V velocities of the tidal currents depend on the tidal conditions considered at mean neap and spring tidal rates. The data are provided in m/s for the surface layer. The times are given in relation to high tide at the reference port chosen in the area and are provided from 6 hours before to 6 hours after that reference.

Le produit atlas de courant de marée 2D, format netcdf – Golfe de Gascogne résulte de l’exploitation d'un modèle hydrodynamique haute résolution mis en œuvre par le Shom sur la zone Golfe de Gascogne.

Pour une morte-eau et une vive-eau moyenne de coefficients respectifs 45 et 95, il contient les données numériques des courants de marée de surface sur un cycle de marée échantillonné toutes les 30 minutes. Le produit, fourni sur une grille régulière, est disponible au format netcdf-CF à la résolution de 2 km.

The Tidal stream atlas netcdf product – The Bay of Biscay is the result of using a high-resolution hydrodynamic model implemented by Shom in the Bay of Biscay.

For an average neap tide and spring tide with tidal coefficients of 45 and 95 respectively, it contains numerical data of surface tidal currents over a tidal cycle sampled every 30 minutes. The product, provided on a regular grid, is available in netcdf-CF format at 2 km spatial resolution.
