Digital Surface Models (DSMs) of the Esnandes Salt Marsh (~1 km²) acquired in September 2024 and September 2025
Digital Surface Models (DSMs) of the study area were generated by drones on 19 September 2024 and 18 September 2025. Each pixel represents the elevation value of the terrain at the time of the survey. These DSMs were generated from 895 (2024) and 1,282 images (2025), captured at an altitude of 120 (2024) and 100 meters (2025) using the DJI Mavic 3E RTK and Mavic 3M RTK drones, with ground resolutions of 3.19 (2024) and 2.63 cm/pixel (2025). The surveyed area covers approximately 1 km². The DSMs were resampled to a resolution of 20 cm.
The vertical coordinate system used is NGF IGN69.

- RGB images were acquired using the DJI Mavic 3E RTK and Mavic 3M RTK drones from the LIENSs UAV platform. Drone surveys were conducted by Nicolas Lachaussée in 2024 and Natacha Volto in 2025, both affiliated with the LIENSs UMR 7266 Drone Platform. Photogrammetric processing was performed by Natacha Volto using Agisoft Metashape software. While the RTK-enabled drones provided centimeter-level positioning, one fixed ground control target was used to correct and refine the geometric accuracy of the photogrammetric model. Vertical accuracy was assessed using 28 control points in 2024 and 48 control points in 2025, randomly distributed across the study area by Loës Le Goff Le Gourrierec. These control points, measured with a DGPS SP80, yielded a Root Mean Square Difference (RMSD) of 2.56 cm for 2024 and 3.34 cm for 2025. These drone surveys were carried out as part of the ESA Coastal Blue Project, coordinated by Christine Dupuy at the LIENSs Laboratory.
