SWOT - the State of the World's Sea Turtles - est un partenariat mené par la société Oceanic Society, incluant l'UICN, le groupe des spécialistes tortue marine (MTSG) mis en place en étroite collaboration avec le projet OBIS-SEAMAP porté par Marine Geospatial Ecology Lab (MGEL), Duke University.

Cette base de données permet de réaliser des cartes interactives. Dans le cas présent, sont représentés:

+ les abondances mondiales des sites de pontes par espèce
