Purpose

Created in 2011 under the initiative of the "Agence de l'Eau Rhône Méditerranée Corse", MedObs-Sub is a coordinated monitoring device on the front French Mediterranean. It aims to create a citizen movment around the uses and challenges of the Mediterranean coastline. It involves fishermen and recreational divers who trace information to develop the knowledge and the management of marine natural areas.
