Maritime Spatial Planning

The ‘Maritime Planning’ product contains 2D areas vector objects representing the maritime spatial plan extent (‘MSP_Spatial_Plan’ layer) and the corresponding vocation zones areas (‘MSP_Zoning_Element’ layer), defined in in each maritime spatial planning document. The ‘MSP_Official_Documentation’ table (non-spatial layer), containing links to the legal acts, is also included in the product. This product is organised according to the EMODnet data model for MSP, which is recommended at European level for maritime spatial planning data, in order to provide a harmonised overview of MSP at European level on the EMODnet Human Activities portal. <br /> July 06 2026 version
