The data have been acquired with a Seabat 8160 (50 kHz) multibeam echosounder mounted on board of the CoNISMa research vessel "Universitatis" and with Seabat 8125 (455kHz) multibeam echosounder mounted on board of the CoNISMa research boat “DC7” (chief scientist 2007: Alessandra Savini and Giorgio Budillon; party chief 2008: Alessandra Savini and Giancarlo Spezie). The main objective of this cruise was to study the ecological and geomorphic processes in the Valona Bay. Weather conditions were good during the acquisition.

Multibeam bathymetry of the deeper, western half of the Israel EEZ. This dataset was collected, processed, and delivered by the Department of Marine Geology at IOLR. The survey was funded by the Israeli Ministry of National Infrastructure, Energy and Water Resources and carried out during the summer of 2016 onboard the IOLR Research Vessel, R/V Bat-Galim using a gondola mounted Kongsberg EM302 Multibeam echosounder. Multibeam bathymetry of Haifa Bay. Description of processed data sources: the data come from the Israel Oceanographic and Limnological Research R/V Etziona (www.ocean.org). Acquired with a Kongsberg-Simrad EM1002 (90 kHz, 111 beams). The data is the property of the Israeli Government, Ministry of National Infrastructures, which was renamed the Ministry of Energy and Water. The original data is classified. The navigation is all with real-time corrections and is <1 m. The appropriate oceanographic measurements were made with my AML CTD as well as a Valeport SV. The analysis was all done with CARIS HIPS/SIPS.

The data have been acquired with a Seabat 8101 (240 kHz) multibeam echosounder mounted on board of a little boat (chief scientist F.L. Chiocci; party chief A. Bosman). The main objective of the cruise was the recognition of the submarine hazard features placed offshore the Cirò Marina-Punta Alice (Ionic Calabrian Coast).

High resolution (1/512 minute ~ 3.6m) bathymetry dataset from the Mineplat 4 cruise onboard IPMA RV Noruega. Portugal southern continental shelf, off Alentejo coast, 24 March to 4 April 2019. Depths between 60 and 110m. Seabed sediments sampling was performed during daytime and multibeam mapping during the night, with a Reson T50-P multibeam echosounder. Depths are referenced to the Portuguese Chart Datum (2m below MSL) and WGS84 horizontal reference frame. Position and attitude data (GNSS+Inertial via Applanix OceanMaster POSMV) was post-processed with POSPAC.

This information can be found in the reference system PT-TM06 (ETRS89) .This project is a partnership between the General Directorate of Territory (DGT) and the Portuguese Environment Agency (APA), within the scope of the National Strategic Reference Framework.
