Within the ESA Coastal Blue Carbon project, the LIENSs laboratory contributed drone-derived products, SP80 ground survey points (with longitude, latitude, and plant data) and biomass measurements to test classification models for mapping salt marsh vegetation (e.g., Esnandes) and associated biomass/carbon stocks. Ces données traitent des oiseaux d’eau passant l’hiver sur le littoral métropolitain (moyenne de 2007 à 2012). Parmi tous les oiseaux suivis, 7 grands groupes, rassemblent près de 99 % des individus dénombrés : Anatidés et foulques (bernaches, canards, cygnes, oies…) ; Limicoles (chevaliers, barges, bécasseaux, courlis, gravelots…) ; Laridés (goélands, guifettes, mouettes et sternes) ; Echassiers (aigrettes, cigognes, flamant rose, grue cendrée et hérons) ; Plongeons et grèbes (Grèbe huppé, Grèbe castagneux, Plongeon arctique, Plongeon catmarin…) ; Cormorans (Grand cormoran et Cormoran huppé) ; Rallidés (Gallinule poule-d’eau, marouettes et Râle d’eau).
