  • Thunnus alalunga (albacore tuna) is a highly migratory pelagic species of major commercial importance in temperate and tropical oceans worldwide. As an ecologically and economically significant component of pelagic ecosystems and global tuna fisheries, genomic resources are essential to improve understanding of its genetic diversity, population structure, physiological adaptations, and responses to environmental variability. To support these research efforts, a whole-genome assembly was generated for Thunnus alalunga. Genomic DNA was extracted from a blood sample collected in February 2021 in La Réunion, southwestern Indian Ocean. High-molecular-weight DNA was sequenced in February 2022 using PacBio HiFi long-read sequencing technology, and chromosome-scale scaffolding was achieved using Hi-C data. De novo genome assembly was performed with Hifiasm (version 0.16.1) using HiFi and Hi-C reads. Genome annotation was supported by transcriptomic data derived from liver and kidney tissues. Genome completeness and annotation support were evaluated using BUSCO (version 5.7) in protein mode with the Actinopterygii lineage dataset. This resource provides a genomic reference to support research in population genomics, fisheries biology, and conservation of albacore tuna.

  • This work aims at describing benthic bacterial, archaeal, and metazoan communities along a geographical gradient to assess the effects of a shrimp farm (releasing organic matter such as uneaten feed and faecal pellets) on these communities. The samples were collected in several benthic stations from 0 m to 200 m from the farm cages, as well as in another station located several kilometers from the study area. This study includes two datasets: one based on 16S rRNA gene sequencing, which characterizes the bacterial and archaeal communities, and the other based on 18S rRNA gene sequencing, which describes the metazoan communities.

  • We explored the whole digestive gland transcriptome in the Pacific oyster Crassostrea gigas using Illumina sequencing technology and compare the expression patterns obtained in: i) oysters exposed experimentally at environmentally-realistic concentration to Alexandrium minutum Daoulas1257 strain isolated from the Bay of Brest in France producing only PSTs; ii) AM89BM strain, isolated from the Bay of Morlaix in France producing both PSTs and BECs; iii) CCMI1002 strain, isolated from Irish waters producing only BECs; and iv) control oysters fed with the non-toxic dinoflagellate Heterocapsa triquetra.

  • Dans le cadre de l'ANR Pampas, le patrimoine des marais littoraux a été caractérisé aux dires d'experts scientifiques. Ce sont plus de 170 objets patrimoniaux qui ont été identifié et caractérisé sur les 3 zones d'études : Fier d'Ars (île de Ré), Tasdon (La Rochelle) et Brouage. Ils ont été qualifiés selon trois composantes : naturelle,socio-culturelle et paysagère. Ces objets patrimoniaux ou à vocation patrimoniale sont décrits à travers leurs caractéristiques (matériel/immatériel, visible/invisible, écofact/artefact, niveau de vulnérabilité) mais aussi à travers leurs fonctions culturelles, productives, paysagères, environnementales et écologiques et leur sensibilité au risque de submersion.
