Comparison between 3 kits, Roche, Twist Biosciences and Illumina on the ability to enrich environmental samples to viral sequences

Whole genome pooled sequencing of individuals from 4 populations and 3 different color phenotype in order to uncover the genetic variants linked to color expression in the pearl oyster P. margaritifera.

Le partenariat entre l’ensapBx et le GIP ATGeRi a permis la réalisation d’un atlas numérique via le catalogue et le visualiseur PIGMA. Cet atlas numérique donne accès à : - une carte sur laquelle sont situés des travaux d’étudiants et enseignants de l’ensapBx, - un lien vers le portail ArchiRès dans lequel sont décrits ces travaux de l’ensapBx avec téléchargement du document (lorsqu’il a été numérisé). De nombreux documents ont été référencés par l'ensapBx dans le catalogue PIGMA. Ils portent essentiellement sur les TPFE (travail personnel de fin d'études) et les PFE (projet de fin d'études). Ce référencement est alimenté progressivement par de nouveaux travaux.

The ABYSS project aims at describing deep-sea benthic biodiversity spanning several branches of the tree of life with eDNA metabarcoding tools. To accommodate both micro- and macro biologists, we designed a bioinformatic pipeline based on Illumina read correction with Dada2 allowing analysing metabarcodes from prokaryotic and eukaryotic life compartments.

Successive infections with Vibrio harveyi were conducted in two populations of the European abalone in order to examine which genes may be involved in improved survival to the disease in the St. Malo population.

Here, our study aimed to first assess the influence of plastic on the bacterial community belonging to water, plastic and the microbiome of the giant clam and on the organism's physiology of this putative sentinel species. Our second objective was to identify bacteria whose abundance varies significantly with plastic concentration. Overall, this study will fill the gap towards a better understanding of the impact of plastic pollution on bacterial community assemblages in both inert and living environments.

2bRAD genotyping will be used to estimate genetic diversity and connectivity among populations of Sabellaria alveolata. We will relate population genetic parameters with reef state characteristics.
